At the time of the transaction, Kettering Professional Services was an Australian-owned Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consulting firm and sole Australian channel partner of vendor QAD, specialising in the implementation, management and support of ERP solutions for the manufacturing sector.
Atturra is an Australian-owned ASX-listed technology services company working with clients across sectors, including local government, utilities, education, defence and financial services.
Kettering was seeking a partner that could support its next stage of growth while preserving its key strengths. Atturra, pursuing its growth strategy and looking to make its first acquisition since listing on the ASX, emerged as an ideal buyer because of its strong technologies and industries alignment.
The acquisition offered benefits for both organisations: Kettering’s staff and clients gained access to Atturra’s scale and broader service offerings, while Atturra strengthened its position in the manufacturing sector by gaining over 50 manufacturing clients, becoming the Australian market leader in QAD services:
‘‘Kettering is a great fit both strategically and culturally. Atturra is well positioned to become the advisory and IT solutions provider of choice for the manufacturing sector.”
