BrokerEngine sought a new owner to support its growth ambitions and allow the founders to focus on driving technology innovation for brokers. At the same time, AFG was looking to enhance its technology capabilities to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes across the Australian mortgage industry.
The transaction resulted in AFG adopting BrokerEngine’s workflow management platform into its existing infrastructure.
BrokerEngine initially engaged our team to conduct a ‘market sounding’ exercise which, upon identifying AFG as the ideal buyer, extended into full support across the entire sale process. Our work included advising in valuation, preparing the information memorandum, approaching selected investors, managing the due diligence process, and assisting the founders with contract negotiations.
